The Corrections play the kind of versatile pop music that most bands wouldn’t even attempt these days. They approach their craft with a buoyant charm and crisp clarity that denies categorization. It is with melody and rhythmic freshness that they will draw you in, and observation and intelligence that might make you a fan for years.   — Chris Trapper (The Push Stars)

Dan McLoughlin

Producer Dan McLoughlin at the board.

If you click on the “Music” link in the top menu, you will see that we now have a new fancy music player. Not only does it include our past studio gems, but also the material we have been working on with Producer Dan McLoughlin at his studio in Hoboken, NJ. These particular tunes are all labeled as “rough mix” although in reality they are far from “rough.” As new mixes come in, we will update the player, so keep checking back.

If all goes well, everything will be wrapped up and ready for an early 2010 release. In the meantime, please post your rave reviews and love on Facebook:

Saturday, December 5th: The Corrections in “Rock Band” Mode!

As most fans know, The Corrections have not done too many shows in 2009. And the few we have done have been “unplugged” / acoustic / easy-listening / Mom-friendly. Mind you, we enjoy those shows, but as so many of you you have been telling us, we are long overdue for a performance in “Rock Band” mode. Well, on Saturday, December 5th, the wait will be over when The Corrections return to the infamous Nietzsche’s stage located at 248 Allen St, Downtown Buffalo, armed and ready to once again melt faces. Joining us for this huge event will be rock legends Potter’s Field and John Moore (53 Days).

Admission is $7 or $5 with a donation for Kenmore Kindness. They are in desperate need of winter coats, hats, gloves and boots. Your warm generosity is greatly appreciated!
