August 13, 2008 The Corrections in August On Saturday, August 23rd, The Corrections are happy to be part of the Elmwood Festival of the Arts (Downtown Buffalo) for what will be our earliest performance ever: 11AM. There will be a whole host of awesome bands playing all day, including John & Mary and the Valkyries and The Great Train Robbery. Get there early (or at least on time to see us) and stay all day! Then on Saturday, August 30th, The Corrections will have the distinct honor of making their debut at Rochester’s High Fidelity (Directions). This is an amazing room to see live music. Joining us will be our Rochester pals, Burning Daylight, and Blue Jimmy. We have a Buffalo caravan headed over! Let us know if you would like to join us! Back at Tralf Music Hall in October — with Chris Trapper! On Thursday, October 23rd, The Corrections will perform at Tralf Music Hall. As if returning to Buffalo’s finest music venue is not cool enough, we will be sharing the stage with our “All Time Favorite” singer/ songwriter, Chris Trapper. Tickets will be available soon! Video from May Show at Tralf Coming Soon And speaking of Tralf Music Hall, I am still in the midst editing video footage from The Corrections’ May show at Tralf Music Hall. To be perfectly honest, this is my first project using a professional program called Final Cut Pro. If all goes well, by September, I will be able to start posting up some songs. We shall see. — guillermo izquierdo
